NEW AVANTASIA EPIC TAKING SHAPE

As previously reported Tobias and producer Sascha Paeth are currently working on a new Avantasia album. And Tobias just announced that a third drummer will appear on the album. Besides KISS-drummer Eric Singer who is responsible for most of the drum tracks and Alex Holzwarth (Rhapsody) Tobias' Edguy-band mate Felix Bohnke will be heard on some tracks.

Tobias: "What can I say about Felix? He's been touring the world with me for years (right now Felix, Tobias and Edguy are on tour in the USA). He had to watch my behind for almost twelve years now, so it was time to give something back and invite him. He did a killer job on the Avantasia world tour last year and he is without a doubt the most underrated drummer in the current scene. His playing skills are undisputed as he plays like a clockwork, like a machine and he definitely adds something to the album, just like Eric and Alex. I got three of the best Rock drummers in the world, what more could I ask for?!"

Besides the three drummers the forthcoming epic will feature Klaus Meine (Scorpions), Ripper Owens (ex-Judas Priest), Michael Kiske (ex-Helloween), Bob Catley (Magnum), Jorn Lande (Masterplan) and many others who will be announced soon.
